Our town – Call for Entries
Calling all Michigan artists!
The Community House invites you to join us for the 40th annual OUR TOWN Art Show & Sale!
This all media, juried art show provides a forum for Michigan artists to display and sell their work. The show includes paintings, pastels, sculptures, watercolors, ceramics, glassworks, fiber, photography, jewelry, and mixed media.
Artists receive sixty-five percent of the proceeds from the sale of their art, while thirty-five percent supports the programs and services provided by The Community House, a non-profit organization serving the community for over 100 years! All artists from our nonprofit partners The Friendship Circle and Oakland University undergraduate art students keep 100% of the proceeds from the sale of their art.
- Registrant must be a Michigan resident and 18 years of age or older.
- Submissions may NOT have been shown in any previous OUR TOWN show.
- Starting July 1, 2025, you will be able to submit your online entry
- You may submit up to 3 pieces of artwork unless you are submitting jewelry, then you may submit up to 5 pieces.
- Once your entry is completed with entry fee, you will receive:
- An email receipt
- An email with upload instructions within 24 hours
- The Early Bird entry fee is $45 if received by August 25, 2025
- The entry fee increases to $55 if received after August 25, 2025
- The final day for entries is September 10, 2025
- The Community House cannot accept any changes to the information provided (price, medium, dimensions) after entries are received.
- Submissions may not be removed at any point during the show.
- The Community House, a nonprofit organization, retains a 35% of sales commission.
